About the Role

Meadows of Cadiz is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Unit Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing activities of our facility, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Nursing Staff: Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Care: Regularly assess the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee the allocation of resources, including staff, supplies, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN/LVN in this state.
  • Skills: Must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
