OVERVIEW OF THE EVENING ROOM SERVICE SPECIALIST:

The ideal Evening Room Service Specialist at Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC is an independent and proactive individual who enhances our guests' nighttime experience. By entering guest rooms in the evening, they create a serene atmosphere, adjusting lighting, closing curtains, and providing various turn down services, all aimed at crafting memorable experiences. They are attentive to customer needs and actively seek feedback to elevate service quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver exceptional turn down service by preparing the bed, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies, and filling ice buckets as requested by guests.
  • Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the room to ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
  • Adjust drapes, set the radio to a soothing jazz station, and create a cozy ambiance with appropriate lighting.
  • Clean and sanitize the tub and sink areas.
  • Change linens and make beds as required.
  • Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms, ensuring they are presented neatly.
  • Dispose of trash responsibly.
  • Communicate any maintenance needs to the engineering team.
  • Oversee and maintain cleanliness in all public areas, including event spaces.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed.
  • Return lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings with department heads to discuss policies, guest feedback, and service improvement strategies.
  • Foster a positive team environment by being open to feedback and supporting colleagues in their efforts.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and seek opportunities for quality enhancement.
  • Adhere to instructions, respond to management guidance, and take ownership of responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, property owners, and fellow employees, addressing all requests promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and multitask effectively while maintaining organization.
  • Proficient in communicating with guests and coworkers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
