Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of fire alarm and suppression systems at customer sites. This includes:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals to understand customer specifications
• Installing, programming, configuring, commissioning, and servicing fire alarm and suppression systems to meet customer requirements
• Coordinating installation activities with other trades to optimize installation time
• Attending site meetings and providing excellent customer service skills
• Completing project documentation in a timely manner
• Adhering to OSHA and SimplexGrinnell safety policies and procedures

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three (3) years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety systems
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
• Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and local codes
• Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying equipment up to 50-70 lbs
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
