Hydro Blasting Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Hydro Blasting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks requiring strength and flexibility to handle, position, move, and manipulate equipment and materials. Your responsibilities will encompass emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting systems, and vacuum trucks, adhering to operational guidelines, training protocols, and safety procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety policies and practices, including the proper use of personal protective gear.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery within loud, hazardous, and industrial environments.
  • Manually clean, install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other external and internal equipment on tanks.
  • Assist in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and the general work area before commencing any job. Inform your supervisor of any deficiencies that could lead to accidents, injuries, or productivity loss.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • TWIC certification is preferred but not required.
  • General labor experience is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic safety training skills.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment motor vehicle (MVR) check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for extended periods when necessary.
  • Physically capable of climbing, maintaining balance, bending/stooping, and kneeling continuously.
