At Boyd Company, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process, responsible for assembling mechanical units and subassemblies with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble mechanical units and subassemblies following specific instructions and guidelines.
- Work to moderate tolerances, requiring limited skill and knowledge in assembly operations, with work reviewed by more experienced personnel.
- Operate various equipment, including saws, deburrers, degreasers, drill presses, and packing equipment, with minimal supervision.
- Perform simple functional test operations and record and maintain record logs associated with the production process.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and equipment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
