Overview

MPR Associates, Inc. is a leading provider of multi-discipline engineering services and consulting. We are seeking experienced mechanical engineers to join our team and contribute to the design, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical systems and components within industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design and analysis efforts of multi-discipline system designs, including coaching and mentoring other engineers.
  • Develop design and analytical solutions for a range of technical challenges, including thermal hydraulics, structural design, and mechanical component failures.
  • Create design files, including 3D CAD models and 2D fabrication drawings.
  • Perform technical reviews of internal and external designs or analyses.
  • Communicate results internally and externally.
Requirements
  • BS or MS/ME in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) required.
  • 2-7 years of work experience in mechanical design, preferably with development of diverse skillsets.
  • Experience using solid modeling, analysis, and evaluation of structural/component designs.
  • Experience developing technical solutions based on analysis or testing.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers of all disciplines to evaluate all facets of a technical problem.
