About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Student Tech PRN to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapy Student Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner to administer non-invasive respiratory care and therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments
  • Record patient information on patient medical records
  • Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests and non-invasive respiratory therapy, i.e. nebulizer therapy
  • Administer and monitor continuous oxygen therapy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program, and have active student status. You will also need to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if preferred.
