We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven Physician Assistant to join our expanding national organization. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The responsibilities of the Physician Assistant will encompass:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain active medical licenses in the region (IWC will facilitate any necessary additional licenses).
- Engage in administrative tasks while fostering strong relationships with the facilities we serve on the east coast.
- Provide coverage for nursing homes as required, with travel involved (expenses covered by IWC).
- Work Monday through Friday, with no weekend hours or overnight on-call duties.
- Receive training under the guidance of the Medical Director to acquire comprehensive knowledge in wound care, including diagnosis, treatment options, and bedside procedures.
- Consult at nursing homes as part of IWC's services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant License.
- A minimum of three years of experience in wound care management.
- Thorough understanding of wound care practices and standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
