We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at North Coast Electric. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe and reliable delivery of goods to customer job sites and industrial locations
  • General warehousing and inventory management
  • Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness
  • Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid class A CDL driver's license and current DMV abstract
  • DOT Medical Examiners Card
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Professional in appearance, communication, and actions
  • Complete EDGE training within 90 days of employment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Physical requirements can include heavy lifting (70 lbs)
  • Warehouse environment and customer locations
  • Driving delivery vehicle with GVW over 26,001 lbs. and powered industrial equipment (forklift, etc.)
  • Usual 40-hour work-week Sunday through Thursday however based on business needs afternoon evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires regular and reliable attendance
