About the Role

At DispatchHealth Management, we're building the world's largest in-home care system to deliver trusted and compassionate care to all. As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, and patient homes
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or designated locations
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient attributes
  • Demonstrate safe work practices including radiation safety and infection control
  • Process, review, and transmit images and required documentation
  • Complete necessary forms and maintain records
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Take care of vehicle and ensure it's well stocked with supplies
  • Operate in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Assist with order taking, communication with radiologists, and customer support functions
  • Act professionally and exhibit positive attitude when interacting with others
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, and digital x-ray technology
Requirements
  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
