Atlanta, Georgia, United States MRG Exams Full time
Job Overview:

As a Licensed Psychologist, you will be performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Your role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive in-person assessments for each Veteran.

In this position, you will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. It is essential to note that you do not make disability determinations; instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all decisions using the findings recorded in the DBQs. This role specifically focuses on performing Disability Assessments for Veterans, with no treatment or medication prescribing responsibilities. On average, you will review and assess 4 Veterans per day. You will work as an Independent Contractor, providing your services full-time, and engage in in-person interactions only.

We offer malpractice insurance coverage and health insurance options to support your well-being. If you have a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program and hold an active, unrestricted Psychology license, we encourage you to apply.

Key Requirements:

• Possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program
• Hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license
• Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

Possible Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and location.
