This site features a large-scale copper extraction operation, which includes a state-of-the-art concentrator and a solvent extraction/electrowinning plant, contributing significantly to copper production.

Key Responsibilities:Under general supervision, you will provide expert technical knowledge and support to designated maintenance teams at assigned locations. Your duties will include:
- Conducting repairs, troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and installing equipment as necessary.
- Assisting in the training and development of team members in mechanical maintenance.
- Participating in the planning and preparation for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Creating work orders and purchase requisitions for maintenance activities.
- Engaging in safety programs and ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Making informed operational and maintenance decisions aligned with best practices.
- Contributing to the development of departmental budgets.
- Participating in mentoring initiatives for all employees.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Minimum qualifications include:
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in mechanical or maintenance roles, or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair.
- Completion of required academic and practical competencies.
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and pass necessary assessments.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rigging procedures, and maintenance software.
- Strong understanding of technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good safety and attendance records.
- Eligibility for internal transfer or promotion as per company guidelines.
This role is safety-sensitive and involves working in a mining or manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, mechanical hazards, and other potential risks.
Regular attendance is essential, and the work schedule may include weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Compensation and Benefits:The estimated pay range for this position is competitive and reflects base salary only, excluding bonuses and benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
