Activity Therapist - CTRS PRN

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, skills, and interests to inform treatment plans.
  • Plan, organize, and lead activity sessions that cater to patients' diverse needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop and implement individualized activity plans that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities, such as exercise, games, and community outings, to foster social skills and independence.
  • Modify activities to suit the needs of specific patient groups and ensure a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients at all times.
Requirements:
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or equivalent certification.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
  • First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.
