Job Title: Clinical Nursing Instructor at Arnot Health

Role Overview: As a Clinical Nursing Instructor at Arnot Health, you will be responsible for teaching nursing courses and ensuring they meet the program objectives. You will supervise and guide students in clinical settings, demonstrate clinical competence, and adhere to safety and legal standards. The role involves active participation in faculty committees, policy implementation, and quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring they meet program objectives
• Participate in clinical teaching utilizing various strategies, including simulation and hands-on training
• Demonstrate expertise in clinical judgment and technical skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments
• Ensure patient care meets safety and legal standards, adhering to regulatory requirements
• Monitor and manage equipment and supplies budgets, optimizing resource allocation
• Participate in faculty committees and policy implementation, contributing to organizational growth and development
• Maintain school standards according to regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence
• Engage in research and quality improvement activities, driving innovation and best practices
• Participate in performance appraisal and faculty development, fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Demonstrate self-awareness and seek self-growth opportunities, staying adaptable in a dynamic environment
• Effectively communicate with students, staff, and stakeholders, building strong relationships and trust

Education: Current RN registration in the State of New York. Master's Degree in nursing required.

Knowledge and Experience: Competence in nursing practice and teaching/learning principles, with a strong understanding of industry developments and best practices.
