Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans for geriatric patient care, prioritizing quality of life and owner-pet relationships.
  • Conduct house visits, telemedicine appointments, and follow-up communications to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Oversee technicians and collaborate with other hospital services to provide comprehensive care.
  • Support ongoing research in geriatric medicine and contribute to the development of novel treatments and therapies.
Requirements:
  • DVM or equivalent degree with completed Certification in Rehabilitation.
  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in North Carolina.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Rehabilitation Program.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation therapies and modalities.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform prescribed treatments without supervision.
  • Excellent communication and client skills.
