Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing geriatric patients and developing plans for their care, with a focus on maintaining quality of life for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plans for geriatric patient care, prioritizing quality of life and owner-pet relationships.
- Conduct house visits, telemedicine appointments, and follow-up communications to ensure optimal patient care.
- Oversee technicians and collaborate with other hospital services to provide comprehensive care.
- Support ongoing research in geriatric medicine and contribute to the development of novel treatments and therapies.
- DVM or equivalent degree with completed Certification in Rehabilitation.
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in North Carolina.
- Successful completion of a Certified Rehabilitation Program.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation therapies and modalities.
- Self-motivated and able to perform prescribed treatments without supervision.
- Excellent communication and client skills.
