Accounting Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier/Checker to join our team at Schnucks Markets. As a Cashier/Checker, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers

• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment

• Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels

• Process customer transactions and handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods

• Identify and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Training and Development:
