Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Family Education Program Facilitator to join our team at WestCare. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education programs for families in need.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. You will be responsible for organizing, planning, and delivering education sessions on various life skills areas, following evidence-based curricula for the Celebrating Families Program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging education sessions for parents and children on topics such as substance use prevention and healthy living skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess family needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, rehabilitation) or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience working in social services or human services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test are required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
