RESPONSIBILITIES:


Possess fundamental knowledge of acceptable cleaning standards related to the upkeep and maintenance of the agency's facilities and those of contracting clients where custodial services are rendered.

Capable of operating custodial equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, floor strippers, and other relevant cleaning apparatus to ensure the cleanliness of the assigned facility.

Responsible for monitoring inventory and communicating with management regarding necessary materials and supplies for effective custodial maintenance.

Demonstrate the ability to interact with staff, colleagues, and clients in a professional and ethical manner.

Prepare cleaning solutions in accordance with established procedures.


Adhere to OSHA standards concerning the proper use of chemicals and equipment involved in daily custodial tasks.

Perform sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping of floors and offices

Empty waste containers and replace liners. Dispose of waste in designated areas.

Maintain restrooms following appropriate protocols.


Adhere to and enforce safety and loss prevention measures to prevent injury to personnel and damage to property, equipment, and inventory.

Ensure all operations comply with company policies and procedures.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.


Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
