Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the academic, social, and personal skills of students with physical, sensory, or motor skills deficits.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with physical, sensory, or motor skills deficits, and develop individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students, and participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in the field.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure students are meeting their goals.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality services to students.
