Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and certified surgical technologist to join our team as a Surgical Team Associate - Certified. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each case according to doctors' preference cards.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to surgical aseptic technique.
- Assist in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning, and draping.
- Perform first scrub functions and procedures in most surgical procedures performed at the facility.
- Pass instruments, sutures, medications, and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technology Program required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) required.
