We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at North Central Utility. As a Service/Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing trailer repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

About the Role:

  • Perform a variety of trailer repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components.
  • Conduct DOT inspections on trailers and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Test all systems and equipment for performance issues and document findings.
  • Assist Service Manager and Shop Foreman as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Basic set of tools and computer skills.
  • Previous experience in related field preferred, including fork lift operation and welding or fabrication.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position.
