Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Resident Care Team at The Residence at Great Woods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the Resident Care Director to manage the community and supervise Resident Care Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the evaluation of resident needs and the development of service plans.
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of Resident Care Associates.
  • Evaluate resident issues and medical concerns, discussing with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with all departments.
  • Monitor Resident Care Associates' compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs.
  • Participate in community marketing efforts and participate in the direct care of residents as needed.
  • Provide support to Resident Care Associates regarding assignment questions or concerns, as well as emergency situations.
  • Ensure completion and review of incident/accident reports and implement changes through proper channels.
  • Assist the Resident Care Director with all documentation required by LCB Senior Living or state regulations.
  • Administer topical and oral medications, ear and eye drops, and injectables as allowed by regulation.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
