We are seeking a Registered Nurse PRN to join our team of passionate patient caregivers. As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, our patients are family. We are devoted to ensuring that each person in our care feels safe and receives top-quality care at the bedside.

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned units. This role is responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle. The nurse integrates the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required, as well as current CPR certification. One year of recent experience in an acute care setting is preferred, with ACLS certification in LTACH and Texas hospitals preferred. Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards is essential. The nurse must demonstrate critical thinking skills, general computer skills, and effective organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality and work closely with others is required. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards is essential.
