Current Offerings:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all direct wound care practices to ensure consistency
- Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care for residents
- Manage and treat specific skin conditions
- Coordinate weekly skin assessments
- Evaluate skin conditions using various assessment techniques
- Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Administer treatment for skin disorders following established protocols
- Monitor preventive measures such as inspection and positioning
- Assist in training new nursing staff and demonstrating procedures
- Order and manage supplies and equipment for prevention and treatment
- Adjust treatment regimens as necessary
- Educate residents and caregivers on prevention strategies
- Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives
- Conduct in-service training sessions on nursing skills and procedures
- Adhere to corporate ethics and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Active certification in wound care
- Experience in skin care within a skilled nursing environment
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to engage positively with others
