Academic Hematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated hematologist to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a faculty member in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of physicians and researchers who are passionate about advancing the field of hematology.

This is an open rank, open track faculty position that offers a unique opportunity for a talented individual to make a meaningful contribution to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with a variety of non-malignant hematologic diseases, as well as participating in research and educational activities.

• Provide clinical care to patients with non-malignant hematologic diseases
• Participate in research and educational activities, including clinical and translational research, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers to advance the field of hematology

We are seeking a candidate with a strong interest in academic medicine and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a MD or equivalent degree and be board certified/eligible in Hematology. Board certification in Internal Medicine is encouraged.
