We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Senior Specialist to join our team at the City of Chandler, AZ. As a key member of our Development Services Department, you will play a critical role in providing expert geographic information systems (GIS) support to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS data and maps
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on GIS software and tools
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate GIS data and analysis into decision-making processes
  • Develop and implement GIS-based solutions to support city-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical coursework in GIS, mapping, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in ArcGIS, computer mapping, or drafting, and Global Positioning Systems
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in maintaining cadastral landbase data in ArcGIS Pro
  • Ability to read and interpret plats, civil construction drawings, and plot legal descriptions
  • Experience in AutoCAD and importing/exporting CAD and other data formats into ArcGIS
