Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level position that prepares an employee for a higher-level supervisory role, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This role involves performing work as directed, completing basic operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management: Work effectively with store management and store crews, supervise the store's crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities, and effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints, promote CVS customer service culture, and handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
