Job Summary

This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to stores and job sites. The driver may be required to make pick-ups as needed. A current CDL A license and clean MVR are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport block, mortar, and other materials to job sites in a safe manner
  • Haul tanker pickups of dry bulk cement
  • Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
  • Receive and follow dispatcher instructions
  • Maintain accurate records and follow state and federal regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns
  • Operate tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws
  • Provide routine maintenance of assigned truck and equipment
  • Survey job sites and unload cargo in a safe manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely and efficiently
  • Forklift experience
  • Must have CDL A and at least 2 years of current CDL experience
  • Clean MVR
  • Detail-oriented and good communication skills
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Required DOT yearly physical
