Job Summary

As an Army Instructor with Fulton County Schools, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver instruction that enables students to learn and demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Provide individualized support to students to ensure they meet academic standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional methods
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning space
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and implement changes as needed
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by school administrators
Requirements

Education

A Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited university is required.

Certification/Licensure

A valid Georgia Teaching Certification in the applicable field is required, or the ability to obtain one is necessary.

Experience

0-1 year of classroom experience is required.

Working Conditions
  • Classroom environment with occasional travel to school events

  • May require stooping or crouching
