CDL Instructor

PAM Transport is seeking a highly skilled CDL Instructor to join our team. As a CDL Instructor, you will be responsible for training students to become safe and competent commercial truck drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction to students.
• Monitor student progress and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures.
• Stay current with laws and developments related to commercial truck driving.

Requirements:

• 2 years verifiable OTR type Class A experience in the last 3 years or 1 year experience as a Class A CDL Instructor.
• Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment skills test.
• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Clean MVR and background.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as required by applicable state regulations.
