RCM Health Care Services is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services to elementary school students. This role is crucial in supporting students with various communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist will:
- Plan and deliver speech-language pathology services tailored to students experiencing speech, fluency, voice, language, or pragmatic disorders.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and create intervention plans aimed at enhancing students' educational experiences.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
- Administer and interpret assessments to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt therapy approaches as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A valid California License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- A successful outcome from a fingerprinting background check.
Skills and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Expertise in evaluation procedures and treatment methodologies for communication disorders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
- Familiarity with augmentative communication devices.
