Substance Use Disorder Therapist

MiSide Community Impact Network is seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Therapist to join our integrated and comprehensive community mental health team. As a key member of our team, you will provide social support, community resource referrals, advocacy, and crisis management to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to consumers with behavioral health problems complicated by environment and personal difficulties.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, working closely with the patient care team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Collaborate with medical staff to identify and address psycho-social issues that may impact health conditions.
- Provide skill-building support, assist patients in setting personal goals, and promote recovery principles.
- Conduct ongoing follow-up, basic motivation interviewing, and goal setting with patients.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Registration or certification from a recognized certifying organization, agency, or Board evidencing training and expertise in areas appropriate to SUD services.
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing SUD services in a community and/or outpatient setting.
