Worship Musician Lead

Ladgov Corporation seeks a skilled Musical Support Specialist to enhance the worship experience for our congregation. This part-time role requires a versatile musician who can accompany regular worship services and choir rehearsals, as well as provide musical support during designated services.

We are looking for an experienced music professional with at least two years of experience in worship services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in playing piano, organ, guitar, or keyboard, and be able to read and play music according to the religious services being rendered.

• Accompany regular worship services and choir rehearsals, adjusting tempo and style of choir selections to enhance congregational participation.
• Provide musical support during designated services, including congregational music, offertory, prelude, and postlude music.
• Coordinate and adjust music for all services to ensure a seamless worship experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of liturgical and contemporary music norms. A minimum of two written references regarding the work performed in the music area is required.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of two years of experience in worship services.
• Strong knowledge of liturgical and contemporary music norms of the Catholic/Protestant tradition.
• Ability to read and play music according to the religious services being rendered.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
