Job Title: Delivery Driver

Full Time/Non-Exempt

Location: Winchester, VA

Reports To: Branch Manager

R.E. Michel Company is seeking skilled drivers to join our dynamic team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating, loading, and unloading delivery trucks, delivering products to customer locations efficiently and on time, and maintaining vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate, load, and unload delivery trucks.
  • Deliver products to customer locations efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.
  • Complete delivery records accurately.
  • Uphold professionalism when interacting with coworkers and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in reading maps/directions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT physical card upon hire.
  • Satisfactory, safe driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday shifts.
