Key Responsibilities:
- Guide, motivate, and assist patients in enhancing their functional abilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient progress.
- Monitor patient responses during treatments and compile data for evaluation.
- Fit and instruct patients on the use of orthopedic devices and mobility aids.
- Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
- Provide orientation and guidance to new Physical Therapist Assistants and supervise therapy technicians.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as per American Heart Association standards.
