Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium. As a Math Instructor/Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering mathematical instruction to students using the Mathnasium method.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Deliver mathematical instruction to students using the Mathnasium method
    • Provide individualized attention to students to ensure they understand and master mathematical concepts
  • Student Support
    • Build students' confidence and self-esteem through successful encounters and interactions with carefully selected materials
    • Provide constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to students to help them improve their math skills
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure all student needs are addressed
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methodologies and best practices
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and tracking progress
    • Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Passion for math and working with students
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Eagerness to learn and be trained
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities
    • Professional demeanor and effective communication
  • Availability
    • Availability to work a minimum of 6-10 hours spread across at least two shifts during the week and weekend
