Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Execution:
• Utilize advanced accounting skills to analyze client data.
• Prepare detailed tax returns and supporting documentation with a consultative approach.
• Apply knowledge of tax laws to ensure compliance.
• Develop and assess planning estimates to optimize tax advantages.
• Investigate and resolve complex tax issues for clients.

• Identify opportunities for enhanced client service. - Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare tax work papers in accordance with firm standards using diverse software tools.
• Generate accounting-related reports.
• Maintain comprehensive records for review by other preparers. - Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the tax team to ensure efficient execution of tax processes.
• Assist in managing the overall tax workload, including preparation for tax managers and partners.
• Adhere to internal procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
• Encourage positive interactions among team members. - Professional Development:
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance expertise.
• Stay informed about current tax laws and industry trends.
• Fulfill minimum Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
• CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly UltraTax, is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Dedication to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality.
