Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Kansas City, Kansas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and excellent communication skills. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members, including monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transports patients as needed.
Requirements:
  • One to three years experience as a Technologist preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
