Catholic Worship Music Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate musical elements for Catholic worship gatherings, including performance, training, and scheduling music in partnership with the Catholic Priest.
- Provide direction and accompaniment for rehearsals, liturgical services, and special occasions such as memorial masses, funerals, combined services, and religious holidays.
- Guide the choir and congregation during worship, collaborate on musical selections, and enhance the Catholic worship experience.
- Manage documentation of services rendered and ensure prompt payment for subcontractor contributions.
- Oversee all musical activities within the Catholic program.
- Ensure the security and maintenance of all facilities and equipment utilized.
- Bachelor's degree in music from an accredited institution or a minimum of four years of experience in Catholic Church music.
- Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and traditional Christian music.
- Proficiency in piano and/or guitar, with a preference for piano.
- Previous experience in a Catholic military chapel setting is advantageous.
- Capability to lead a choir and perform music required for Mass.
