Job Summary

ENTEK International is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at our Henderson, Nevada location. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products, following blueprints and schematic drawings and specifications, using bolts or other fastening devices to foundations or other structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products, following blueprints and schematic drawings and specifications
  • Install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and work them to test proper movement and assemble gear systems using alignment & measurement tools
  • Bend and install pipe for hydraulic systems, as well as perform layout, prep, assembly, and installation of threaded and grooved pipe
  • Test (or assist with testing), analyze, troubleshoot, and correct machine issues
  • Participate in equipment maintenance and train other employees on department procedures
Working Environment

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This role requires working 8-hours shifts, spending the majority of the work shift on their feet. The incumbent will regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four (4) years of applicable experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to self-manage behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
