Pride Health is seeking a Mammography Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role is designed to support our client’s hospital facility, providing essential services in mammography and related diagnostic imaging.

Position Overview: In this capacity, you will conduct outpatient screening and diagnostic examinations, including bone density assessments. Your expertise will extend to performing stereotactic and ultrasound biopsies, as well as managing localization procedures such as magseed and wire placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute procedures with precision, applying critical thinking to identify and respond to urgent situations effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records, ensuring the confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Utilize hospital and imaging computer systems proficiently.
  • Engage professionally with physicians, colleagues, patients, and their families.
  • Manage access to medications pertinent to your role.
  • Be open to additional responsibilities that align with organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate accountability for maintaining and enhancing skill proficiency as outlined in the position skills list.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois license (IEMA) is mandatory.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • ARRT certification in Mammography is essential.
  • Experience with DEXA scans is advantageous.

Additional Information:

Work Schedule: Monday and Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, Tuesday to Thursday from 09:00 to 17:30, with rotating Saturdays approximately every sixth week.

Compensation: The weekly pay package is set at $2,542.00, with the offered rate reflecting education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Local Candidates: Local applicants are welcome and will receive the same compensation rate.
