Job Industry: Healthcare - Health Services

We are seeking a Part-Time Ophthalmologist to join our team in Columbus, GA.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree required
  • Current active state Medical License and DEA license with full prescriptive authority
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • ACLS certification
  • At least one year of experience in ophthalmology

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide routine eye care services, including vision tests and prescription of glasses and contact lenses.
  2. Perform corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and removing cataracts.
  3. Conduct advanced surgical procedures, including keyhole and laser surgery.
  4. Diagnose and treat eye diseases and injuries.
  5. Manage emergency eye clinics, outpatient clinics, or other specialist eye clinics.
  6. Provide holistic care for medical disorders affecting vision.
  7. Use therapeutic procedures and perform biopsies as needed.

Work Schedule:

We offer part-time hours with flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Wednesday coverage is not required.
