We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Storage Technologies. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring the accuracy of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct cycle counts and bin audits to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to determine underlying issues
- Identify potential risks to inventory accuracy and propose solutions to mitigate those risks
- Process internal inventory requests and ensure physical material is handled properly
- Process nonconforming material, including dispositioning physical material
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively across teams and with leaders
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control and cycle count/bin audit processes
- Knowledge of general warehouse procedures and Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally and capture cycle count/bin audit inventory accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a similar environment
- Preferred: 5 years of related work experience
