About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Freight Hauler to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products to customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a truck to deliver food products to customers on time and in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Handle customer payments and verify delivery accuracy with customers.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • The ability to read and communicate in the English language and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
  • The ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
