Welder Specialist

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to contribute to our mission of providing innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Operate welding equipment and tools to join or cut metal parts with precision and efficiency.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and shaping them to meet project requirements.
• Determine the appropriate welding techniques and methods based on the type of metal and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded joints and make necessary repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations while performing welding tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, and perform routine maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Continuously improve welding skills and techniques through training and practice to stay up-to-date with industry standards.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Welding certification (Preferred).
• 3 plus years welding experience.
• Must pass EMIT welding test.
