Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Amazon. In this role, you'll design and implement scalable data infrastructure solutions to integrate with multiple heterogeneous data sources, aggregate and retrieve data efficiently, and curate data for reporting, analysis, and machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop pipelines for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL, Python, and AWS big data technologies.
  2. Optimize data delivery, redesign infrastructure for greater scalability, and manage code deployments, bug fixes, and release management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new data sources and deliver high-quality data.
  4. Maintain and improve existing data pipelines, ensuring they meet business needs.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year, based on location and experience.

What You'll Need
  • 1+ years of data engineering experience.
  • Strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
  • Excellent knowledge of query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell).
  • Experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
