Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join the Jarrell Independent School District team as a Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining school buildings and grounds in a safe, clean, and operable condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure school buildings and grounds are in good condition.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles as needed.
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of school facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation.
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent travel between schools and occasional work in poor weather conditions.
