Position Overview

We are actively searching for a SCADA Engineer with a minimum of three years of relevant experience and expertise in at least two SCADA Software Platforms, including AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA System Platform, Ignition, and Schneider Electric Geo SCADA. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and set up SCADA hardware and software systems.
  • Conduct factory functional testing of programmed control systems, HMI, and SCADA.
  • Modify PLC and HMI applications in the field as required.
  • Troubleshoot control system issues and implement effective software and hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Lead the successful execution of startups for large and complex projects.
  • Serve as the technical lead for assigned projects.
  • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) with minimal oversight.
  • Possess strong knowledge of water/wastewater processes.
  • Create error-free SCADA tag databases, screens, scripting, and customer reports.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, along with 5 years of experience in SCADA programming and development.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with control systems networking and communications.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of current computer technologies and TCP/IP configurations.
  • Familiarity with SCADA software packages such as Wonderware, Wonderware System Platform, Ignition, Clear SCADA, VTSCADA, and WinCC.
  • Proficient in Visio and object library organization and development.
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP-based protocols, including Modbus TCP and Ethernet IP.
  • Awareness of Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity practices.

Compensation: The pay offered will be based on various factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
