We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases
- Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise
- Enter prescription information and fill prescriptions
- Complete and maintain paperwork, forms, and required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions
- Operate equipment such as cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
- Maintain the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school
- Preferred qualifications include Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification
