Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at The Verland Foundation Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex physical and intellectual challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living skills, personal hygiene, and transportation.
  • Implement individualized programs and record daily progress notes.
  • Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
  • Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
  • Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening
